Usage Tips

• Shake Vigorously: Metallic paints contain heavier particles that settle quickly. Shake the pot for a longer duration than standard acrylics to ensure the metallic pigment is evenly suspended in the medium.

• Control Your Brush: Use a dedicated brush for metallics if possible, as the fine metal particles can sometimes be difficult to clean out of natural hair brushes. Synthetic brushes work very well with this paint.

• Layering Advice: To achieve a realistic "worn metal" look, apply Leadbelcher as your base, cover it with a dark shade like Nuln Oil to define the recesses, and then lightly drybrush the edges with a brighter silver like Runefang Steel.

• Avoid Over-thinning: While you should always thin your paints slightly for a smooth finish, be careful not to over-thin metallic paints, as this can cause the pigment to separate and create a patchy, uneven appearance.
