Preserving Your Collection
To ensure your TCGs, toys, figurines, and games stay in mint condition, we recommend the following:
- Environment: Store all collectables in a cool, dry place. Humidity can warp cards, while heat can damage figure packaging and game cases.
- Sunlight: Keep items away from direct sunlight to prevent fading on card art, sticker finishes, and display boxes.
- Handling: We recommend using protective sleeves for all trading cards and stickers immediately to prevent surface scratches and edge wear.
- Cleaning: For figurines and game cases, use a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Description
Product Overview
The Broadside Battlesuit is the heavy artillery of the T'au Empire. Built on a modified XV8 Crisis chassis, the Broadside is slower and bulkier than its counterparts, sacrificing mobility for extreme durability and long-range, heavy-duty firepower. It is the go-to unit for neutralizing enemy armour and heavy monsters from across the battlefield.
Key Specifications
-
Game System: Warhammer 40,000
-
Faction: T'au Empire
-
Unit Role: Heavy Support / Anti-Tank
-
Assembly: Plastic kit with multiple heavy weapon and drone options
Features and Benefits
-
Heavy Weaponry: The kit typically features the massive Rail Rifle (capable of punching through the thickest armour) or the High-Yield Missile Pod (perfect for saturating an area with high-strength shots).
-
Stabilized Platforms: Designed as a mobile firing platform, the suit includes heavy stabilizers that ground the model, reflecting its role as a stationary heavy-hitter that can withstand return fire.
-
Advanced Sensor Arrays: The suit features high-tech sensor and targeting systems, which can be modelled with optional heads or "smart" missile systems, giving it a high-tech, tactical appearance.
-
Drone Support: Includes specialized drones that can be modelled accompanying the suit to provide targeting assistance or defensive shielding, adding more narrative depth to your unit.
Assembly and Painting Tips
-
Panel Lining: T'au armor is characterized by its large, flat, smooth panels. Use a fine-point ink pen or a very thin wash of Nuln Oil to carefully trace the panel lines. This creates the clean, futuristic "high-tech" look that is signature to T'au design.
-
Sub-Assembly: Paint the large rail weapons or missile pods separately from the main torso. The weapons have many complex cables and cooling vents that are much easier to paint when not attached to the body.
-
The "Clean" Look: Unlike the Orks or Astra Militarum, T'au technology is often kept in pristine condition. Avoid heavy weathering or mud on the armour plates; instead, focus on clean edge highlights using a lighter colour than your base coat to emphasize the suit's sleek contours.
-
Lens Effects: The suit's optical sensors and weapon lenses are key focal points. A bright, contrasting color like orange or light blue, applied over a white base, will make the suit look "powered up" and alert.
-
Base Colours: The Broadside looks excellent in the crisp, bright colours of a T'au Sept. Use a base like Wraithbone or a clean white, and apply your secondary colour (like blue or red) to the shoulder panels and leg armour for that classic T'au aesthetic.
