Preserving Your Collection

To ensure your TCGs, toys, figurines, and games stay in mint condition, we recommend the following:

  • Environment: Store all collectables in a cool, dry place. Humidity can warp cards, while heat can damage figure packaging and game cases.
  • Sunlight: Keep items away from direct sunlight to prevent fading on card art, sticker finishes, and display boxes.
  • Handling: We recommend using protective sleeves for all trading cards and stickers immediately to prevent surface scratches and edge wear.
  • Cleaning: For figurines and game cases, use a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Description

Product Overview

Knight Armigers are the swift, agile vanguard of the Imperial Knight houses. While significantly smaller than the towering Questoris-class Knights, they are still imposing war machines, acting as fast-attack support that can outmaneuver heavier enemy targets. On the tabletop, they are versatile, resilient, and capable of dominating board control in small-scale engagement or as part of a larger super-heavy detachment.

Key Specifications

  • Game System: Warhammer 40,000

  • Faction: Imperial Knights

  • Unit Role: Fast Attack / Support

  • Assembly: Plastic kit; offers multiple variant options

Features and Benefits

  • Dual Variants: The kit allows you to build either the Armiger Warglaive (a close-quarters brawler with thermal lances and reaper chain-cleavers) or the Armiger Helverin (an anti-air and long-range fire support platform with twin autocannons).

  • High-Detail Canvas: Their size provides a massive amount of surface area for intricate heraldry, complex paint schemes, and freehand designs, making them a favorite for painters who enjoy large-scale detail.

  • Tactical Versatility: Armigers can operate independently or in packs, providing the necessary speed to screen your larger Knights or capture objectives that are too difficult for slow, heavy infantry to reach.

  • Dynamic Posing: Despite their mechanical nature, the joints are designed to allow for a variety of running or hunting poses, adding character and "life" to your models.

Assembly and Painting Tips

  • Sub-Assembly: Paint the inner chassis (the skeleton, pipes, and hydraulic joints) separately from the external armor plates. This allows you to reach the intricate mechanical details with a wash (like Nuln Oil) without getting paint all over the clean armor panels.

  • Metallics for the Chassis: Use Leadbelcher as your base for the skeleton. A good tip for Knights is to use a gold metallic, such as Retributor Armour, on specific trim or mechanical pipes to give them a regal, aristocratic appearance.

  • Armour Plates: Since these are your canvas, apply your chosen house colors cleanly. Using a base coat like Macragge Blue or Mephiston Red for the armor plates creates a striking contrast against the metallic internal structure.

  • Heraldry and Decals: Imperial Knights are defined by their heraldry. Once the paint is dry, apply your decals using a setting solution to ensure they conform to the curved armor plates, giving them a professional, factory-applied look.

  • Basing: These models are large, so they benefit from a detailed base. Adding debris, destroyed terrain, or even the bodies of smaller infantry units can help convey the sheer scale of the Knight as it strides across the battlefield.
